What Is Digital Water Conditioning?

Physical water treatment forms the basis for the electrical impulse technology in the Calmat and Vulcan range of conditioners. A small low voltage but high frequency current is passed through the coils of the conditioning device. This current affects the way in which the calcium (limescale) and Sodium (salt) crystallise making the crystals that form break up and wash away rather than stick to each other. This effect is seen on minerals that have already crystalised and on dissolved minerals that are forming.
