Pump repairs, from house to minesite.

Pump repairs

Southern’s Water Technology has been in the business of repairing pumps across the South West of WA for over 40 years. We have one of the best equipped pump repair workshops in the area and an experienced team of qualified and licensed mobile technicians to get you up and running quickly and smoothly.

Our pump technicians carry a REL electrical license so they can work on fixed wiring and are trained and experienced in electrical motor faults and repairs.

They are also factory trained by our manufacturers to carry out the repairs on all types and makes of pumps. We will also repair brands that we don’t normally sell as we have a wide network of parts available.

What we repair

We repair all types of water and waste water pumps. Everything from a 20L/minute pond pump up to a 1500L/min bore pump. All pumps are either repaired in our  workshop at 24 Clifford st or on site, depending on requirements and logistics.

We begin all repairs by doing a complete mechanical and electrical assessment. This assessment usually includes a full function test on our wet testing rig. This allows us to determine what the fault is with the pump (or if it is somewhere else in your system) and then our staff provide you with the options for either carrying out repairs or replacing the unit with a quality new unit from our range.

In our workshop we have a full wet testing station. This allows us to hook up a pump and test its volume, pressure and electrical capabilities and then compare this to factory standards to determine what is working. We are one of the only companies in the South West to carry out full testing of a pump when looking to do repairs. Our test rig can test flows from 10L/min to 1500L/min (90m3/hr) and pressures up to 1600 kpa in both single and 3 phase motors. We also have a proper wet test station for bore pumps which allows use to provide a proper wet test report, so when the pump is installed we know it will work for a long time.

A typical pump test report to compare your pump against factory performance.
